Kairouan solar power plant

This project consists of the construction of a 100 MW solar power plant, planned to produce nearly 223,171 MWh of power per year and to save more than 113,525 metric tonnes of CO2 emissions on an annual basis. It is located in Kairouan, Tunisia. Sponsors of the project are AMEA Power and TBEA Xinjiang New Energy. The project is covered by a power purchase agreement (PPA) and the produced energy will be sold to the Société tunisienne d’électricité et du gaz (STEG). Total investment of the project stands at $100 million.
