The Kakatiya Mega Textile Park, also known as PM MITRA Park, is developed under the PM MITRA Scheme at Warangal. It is India's first fully functional PM MITRA Park, developed at an estimated cost of around Rs 1,700 crore. The park operationalizes the Centre's 5F vision – 'Farm to Fibre to Factory to Fashion to Foreign'. It aims to promote textile manufacturing in Telangana and position India as a global leader in the textile market. The park is strategically located near the proposed Nagpur-Vijayawada Greenfield Expressway and NH-163, offering excellent multimodal connectivity. It features state-of-the-art infrastructure including internal roads, power substation, assured water supply, and sustainable development with a Common Effluent Treatment Plant with Zero Liquid Discharge technology. It is expected to generate over 24,400 jobs once fully operational.
