Description	Kalehan Enerji Uretim ve Ticaret AS was planning the development of the 593MW Beyhan-1 hydropower plant, Murat River, Eastern Turkey. Total output was estimated at 1,250GWh annually. Kalehan was a subsidiary of Ozaltin Holding. The equipment supply contract for a 35MW turbine was awarded to Alstom (EUR35 million, US$46.3 million), as well as a 380kV switchyard, power transformers, and automation system. The supply contract for another three Francis turbines (186MW each) was awarded to Andritz, valued at EUR 44 million. Voith Hydro was to supply three generators of 235MVA each, valued at EUR 39 million. The design contract was awarded to Poyry and its consortium partner Temelsu, from Finland, in July 2011, valued at EUR 2.9 million and expected to be completed in 2013. Commissioning was expected for 2015.
