Description | The Mumbai Building Repairs and Reconstruction Board (MBRRB), a unit of Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA), has floated tenders for redeveloping Kamathipura in South Mumbai under the cluster redevelopment scheme. The project involves making 44,000 square meters of land available and granting the developer 5.67 lakh square meters of development rights to build approximately 4,500 new housing units. The redevelopment aims to replace century-old buildings and compensate about 800 landowners with housing units based on their land plot sizes. |
