Description | The project entails the construction of 30 MW solar plant in Cherkassy region, Ukraine. Sponsor of the project is Scatec Solar and covers $ 12.26 million of the total cost while the rest is provided by European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and FMO. The syndicated loan provided by EBRD consists of an “A Loan” of up to €12.25 million provided on the Bank’s own account and a “B Loan” of the same amount provided by FMO, the Netherlands Development Finance Company. Financial close took place on December 21, 2018. In June 2019, it was announced that FMO agreed to take a 40% stake in the project.
