Kangankunde Rare Earths Project Expansion

Lindian Resources is developing the Kangankunde rare earths project in Malawi. Stage 1 site works including processing areas, run-of-mine pads, roads, and solar bore-fields are nearly complete, on budget and ahead of schedule. The company aims to start concentrate production in Q4 2026. Stage two infrastructure tenders are progressing with final design proposals due in October, including power lines and supply contracts to make the project construction-ready once the final contract is awarded. The project has a recently expanded 2500-hectare mining licence supporting potential production increase to 50,000 tonnes per annum, with a feasibility study underway to refine stage 2 targets.
