This project involves the development, management, and maintenance of a 150 km long A2 highway connecting Kano to Katsina in Nigeria. The highway concession starts at Dawanau in Kano and ends at Katsina steel rolling junction. This is a major route in the Northern part of Nigeria as it links 2 of the major states in the North-West region.The scope of works involves :Construction/rehabilitation of the road pavement, streetlights, open spaces which includes design and construction of truck parks and resting areas, directional signage and advertisement assets, telecommunications facilities, and toll plazas;Continued upgrading of the highway to deal with increasing capacity and managing growth and traffic;Dealing with road development within existing built-up areas adjourning the highway corridor;Creation of additional lanes on the highway route to deal with increased capacity;Highway management and maintenance of the route
