Kaohsiung Smart Lighthouse AI Project

planned

The Kaohsiung City Government is exploring the Smart Lighthouse Project to facilitate AI partnerships with international tech firms. The project aims to apply a sovereign AI approach to city governance, integrating telecom services with Nvidia's vision-language model to address urban challenges such as traffic, flood prevention, and environmental monitoring. The city plans to work with Nvidia and Foxconn to establish centers using Nvidia's Compute Unified Device Architecture for computing power and software development, and develop the world's largest city-scale large language model with local features.
