Akres Akhisar Ruzgar was planning the development of the 45 MW Akres wind farm, near the city of Akhisar, Manisa province. The project was to comprise 18 turbines of 2.5 MW, producing an annual 138 GWh. Akers was wholly-owned by Karesi Enerji, part of the Turkish industrial holding Yircali Group. Chairman was Mr. Rona Yircali as of October 2011. Commissioning was dated in June 2011. Equipment was supplied by Nordex under a supply contract signed in October 2010. The total cost were estimated at EUR50 million ($66.5 million). In January 2011 Akres secured EUR47.3 million ($62.9 million) in project financing. The debt package was to include 85% of the construction contract, 100% of the Hermes risk insurance and 100% of interest during construction, with a maturity of 16.5 years. Financial advice was provided by Turkish bank Pragma.
