Karl Brewer Community Center Rebuild and McAdams Park Upgrades

under construction

The project involves rebuilding the Karl Brewer Community Center to nearly twice its current size, adding a gym, walking track, expanded programming space, and upgraded technology. Additionally, improvements at McAdams Park include pool-area upgrades, new tennis-court surfacing, a new scoreboard at Barry Sanders field funded by a grant, and new energy-efficient lights at a baseball diamond. A pedestrian bridge replacing the Fifteenth Street bridge over the Wichita Drainage Canal is also planned for construction this year.
