Kartavya Bhavan Common Central Secretariat Building

completed

Kartavya Bhavan is the first of the 10 upcoming state-of-the-art Common Central Secretariat buildings in New Delhi, which will house offices of all ministries. It is part of the Central Vista redevelopment plan and aims to provide modern infrastructure to the central government, replacing old British-era buildings. The building will house ministries including Home Affairs, External Affairs, Rural Development, MSME, DoPT, Petroleum & Natural Gas, and the Principal Scientific Adviser's office. The project is expected to save the government Rs 1,500 crore annually in rent after the construction of all 10 buildings.
