Description	The Hydro power plants operate as intermediate and peaking plants and this role will increase as the peak demand continues to grow. In addition, grid connection of renewable sources (wind & solar) is projected to accelerate as a result of private investments driven by the government under the Feed in tariff (FiT) policy it is projected that between 2015-2020 a total capacity of 645 MW renewable energy capacity will be added into the system. This addition, will need to be matched by additional peaking power and the proposed project is ready for implementation
