It has approximately 35 billion barrels of oil in place, with nearly half estimated to be recoverable. The oilfield began production in 2013 and is being developed by the North Caspian Project consortium, which includes international majors and Kazakhstan's state oil firm KazMunayGas. The project is expected to hit 1 billion barrels of cumulative production by the end of 2025. |
