Description | Kasuri is Indonesia's first floating liquefied natural gas (FLNG) facility with a nameplate liquefaction capacity of 1.2 million tonnes per annum. The project includes upstream production sharing contract interests in West Papua province and a midstream FLNG facility. The midstream facility comprises an onshore gas processing plant, connecting pipelines, and supporting facilities. The FLNG vessel will convert treated raw gas from the AKM fields into liquefied natural gas. The project is operated by Genting and is under development with an expected production start-up in early 2027. Chinese contractor Wison New Energies is responsible for engineering, procurement, construction, installation, and commissioning of the FLNG facility. Rukun Raharja and its subsidiary Raharja Energi Cepu (Ratu) are acquiring a 5% stake in both upstream and downstream parts of the project. |
