The pipeline work began at least two years ago under the 24x7 water supply project for Pune. The project aims to improve water supply with more hours and adequate pressure, benefiting an estimated population of around one lakh. However, work is pending on a 150m stretch on Katraj-Kondhwa Road due to technical difficulties such as hard rock and existing establishments, with PMC working on solutions to complete the pipeline before the monsoon season. |
