Description | The project involves the construction, upgrading, and equipping of over 260 primary healthcare facilities across all 34 local government areas of Katsina State. It also includes renovations and upgrades of comprehensive health centres to general hospitals in several locations, relocation of psychiatric hospital and nursing colleges to permanent sites, infrastructural upgrades of state-owned tertiary health institutions, installation of solar-powered boreholes, digitalization of health records in pilot hospitals, installation of solar power systems in hospitals, renovation of operating theatres and laboratories, completion of a dialysis centre, and ongoing work on a modern imaging and diagnostic centre. |
