Description | The project involves the development of a 30MW solar plant in Bukit Keteri, in the northern state of Perlis, Malaysia. Sponsor is KBJ Hecmy, a joint venture between Hanwha Energy and Konsortium Berseri Jaya. Hanwha is investing US$10 million in cash in the project. The US$50 million project financing, arranged by an OCBC Bank-led consortium of lenders including Bangkok Bank, is aligned to meet the Asia Pacific Loan Market Association’s (APLMA) Green Loan Principles. The project was It was one of the successful bidders under Package P3 of the Energy Commission’s LSS2 tender programme.
