A power purchase agreement (PPA) is signed with Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB), the national electricity transmission company. The total investment stands at $8.32 million (LKR 2.7 billion), which is expected to generate Equity Internal Rate of Return (EIRR) of 15% to the sponsor of the project - WindForce PLC. The project company is Kebitigollewa Solar Power (Private) Limited. Financial close of the project is achieved on September 7, 2023 with completion expected by July 2024.
