Keeler Centre Facility and Grounds Accessibility Upgrades

This project will take place in the Township of Cramahe which is located in Colborne, Ontario. This project will rehabilitate the Keeler Centre Facility. The project consists of retrofits to existing interior doors with accessible power door operators to allow unrestricted access to areas within the Keeler Centre Facility. These areas include the arena ice pad, accessible washroom facilities, banquet hall, dressing room and viewing areas. The project also consists of removing the existing entrance and vestibule doorways and replacing them with motion sensing by-parting accessible door systems. Lastly, this project involves constructing an exterior sun shelter with an accessible washroom and canteen on the grounds for viewing outdoor events. This project will allow for accessible areas for exterior events such soccer games, music events, car shows for all spectators to enjoy. The Project will result in improved access and/or quality of community, cultural, and/or recreation infrastructure. This project will improve the service gap at the Keeler Centre by providing accessible upgrades to the facility to allow people who utilize mobility devices to access all public areas.
