Description | This project is to construct three enhanced transit exchanges in the City of Kelowna. These infrastructure enhancements will prepare the system to accommodate a needed increase to transit service levels and the continued growth in transit ridership envisioned in Kelowna’s 2040 Transportation Master Plan (2021). All three exchanges: Rutland Transit Exchange, Okanagan College Transit Exchange, and Mission Transit Exchange will feature bus shelters, sidewalks and road improvements, a Park & Ride facility, micro-mobility supportive infrastructure and operator facilities. |
