Description

Description

Construction a new 3,920 square foot pool featuring a zero depth beach entry and spray park. The pool will be accompanied by a new 3,000 square foot facility. Both the pool and new facility will increase accessibility and energy efficiency. The new facility will house new barrier free change rooms/showers, washrooms, locker area, mechanical and storage, reception and staff area. The new facility will also have two washrooms/showers accessible from the exterior for the campers and park users. The building will be seasonal and have open air ventilation. Installation of solar power for sustainability will be strongly reviewed during design. The new pool and facility will provide a solid recreational investment for the community and rural area. The existing building was built in the 1980’s with the original pool from the 1970’s. Both requiring upgrades to meet the current standards and accessibility.
