The scope is a backup power supply will be installed to facilitate pump house to increase chlorine contact time to meet 4 log reduction standard. A backup power supply will be installed to facilitate pump house operation in the event of a power outage. Additional instrumentation in the form of a chlorine analyzer and a SCADA system will also be installed. The project aims to improve the town’s ability to monitor pump house flows and regulate chlorine residuals. |
