Kensington High School Exterior Siding

The exterior siding of the provincially owned Kensington Intermediate Senior High School requires a major repair. The school is approximately 93,215 ft² (8,660m²), and serves 331 students from grades 7 to 12. The cost estimate is based on replacing the existing porcelain panels with a combination of new masonry brick and metal, encompassing a repair area of approximately 9,000 ft² (836m²) and doing foundation waterproofing in one area at the front of the building, approximately 1,350 ft², where waterproofing is failing. This is required to improve the exterior building envelope and ensure the exterior is tight against the weather. The project will help support the economic recovery in this region.
