Kentucky Humane Society Animal & Community Care Campus

under construction

The Kentucky Humane Society is constructing a new Animal & Community Care Campus on more than 5 acres of land on Orchard Avenue, off Preston Highway in Louisville, Kentucky. The 54,000-square-foot facility will include 7,000 square feet of covered outdoor space and will replace the nonprofit's current facilities. The campus is designed to save more lives, serve more families, and strengthen communities, featuring a low-cost veterinary clinic, increased housing for cats and dogs, flexible emergency housing, public education spaces, community outreach rooms, and an expanded CARE-a-van program.
