Kenya - Institutional support to the Auditor General Office

The proposed operation concerns additional financing from the Middle-Income Country Technical Assistance Fund (MIC TAF), of UA 200,000, to finance additional activities of the Institutional Support Project to the Office of the Auditor General (ISP-OAG). The initial ISP-OAG is supporting: (i) a technical assistance to advise on communication best practices, change management strategies and performance management and (ii) capacity building activities to promote transparency and accountability in public spending and improve OAG service delivery. To complement the technical assistance and capacity building activities mentioned above, the additional financing will support supplementary capacity building activities that contribute to the achievement of the project’s objectives. The proposed activities under the additional financing will contribute to promoting transparency and accountability in public spending by enhancing OAG competencies for quality and timely audit reports.
