Keremeos - Critical Inflow and Infiltration Removal

The proposed project will replace manholes and pipe sections that have been identified by video surveys as major sources of infiltration of groundwater into the sanitary sewer system. The project aims to improve the efficiency of the existing sewage infrastructure in Keremeos and keep discharge within permitted levels in the face of increased groundwater levels due to climate change. The project works include: - removal and replacement of approximately 25 manholes; - removal and replacement of approximately 12 sections of sanitary gravity collection pipe; and, - related works.
