Description | The 49,000-square-foot facility was developed through a collaborative planning process involving residents, town leadership and stakeholders, and is intended to serve as a community hub for regional tournaments and cultural events. It features an NBA-size basketball court that doubles as a venue for concerts and other events, a fitness room, walking and running track, and multipurpose studios and classrooms. The project was designed to be inclusive and accessible with barrier-free access and indoor-outdoor connectivity to nearby trails and the Ivey M. Redmon Sports Complex. It accommodates evolving programming needs including daily community use and large-scale events. |
