Khanapur Wind Farm is a 100MW facility located in Maharashtra state, India. Gamesa will supply wind turbines in two phases. Orange Maha Wind Energy Private Limited is wholly owned by Orange Renewable Power Group (100%) a subsidy of AT Holding Private Limited (Singapore). It is a requirement that the facility be operational before a PPA can be signed, thus a PPA has yet to be signed. Orange Maha Wind Energy Private Limited reach financial closure in January, 2015. Of the expected $124m USD cost, $37.35m USD will be financed through equity (Orange Renewable Holding Private Limited), and $86.65m USD will be debt financed (State Bank of India). Phase I of Khanapur Wind Farm was scheduled to be completed in March, 2015, and Phase II commissioned by June, 2015. As noted before the project is waiting on a PPA.
