Information Adani Energy Solution Limited has come up with Khavda IVA Power Transmission Limited with a ticket size of 4500 INR Crores. This project in Electricity Transmission sub-sector involves The current status of the project is Financial Closure and is being developed through the PPP route. Economic/Social Impact of the Project The subject scheme [under Part A] includes Creation of 765 kV and 400 kV bus section- II at KPS3 [GIS], KPS3 [GIS] ? Lakadia [AIS] 765 kV D/c line, KPS1[GIS] ? Bhuj PS 765 kV 2nd D/c line and +-300 MVAR STATCOM with 1x125 MVAR MSC, 2x125 MVAR MSR at 400 kV Bus section-II of KPS3. The transmission scheme alongwith other Ph-IV schemes will facilitate integration of additional 7 GW REZ in Khavda area [beyond 15 GW] under Ph-IV. The subject Transmission system was deliberated and approved in the 14th NCT meeting held on 09.06.2023. The Ministry of Power vide Gazette notification dated 04.09.2023 has appointed RECPDCL as BPC for implementation of the subject transmission scheme through TBCB route.
