Description | Kiewit is currently in the construction phase for a 181,000 SF new College of Engineering Building for the University of Nebraska – Lincoln. This project includes laboratories and classrooms, as well as interdisciplinary collaborative spaces for students to build and interact with one another as well as faculty. This landmark building aims to attract students to the engineering disciplines and act as a hub within the campus for all students to utilize, improving both academic and student life experiences. The new building will include a student design and project center, faculty and college administrative offices, instructional laboratories, and modern classrooms to support research-based instructional strategies. The project is designed and being constructed to be WELL and LEED Gold certifiable. |
