The beneficiary of the funding will be Kijora Film. The company provides a creative space to produce arthouse and debut feature films and documentaries. The proposal's objective is for Kijora Film to become highly recognizable among European documentary production companies, go beyond the domestic market, and build international recognition in feature fiction films. We will work on developing the: Incident – feature fiction, debut, dir. T. Wolski; Hear me out - feature fiction, debut, dir. I. Kondefer; A day without the end – feature fiction, the second film, dir. Damian Kocur; Isabella – feature documentary, second film dir. Joanna Janikowska. Our objectives focus on providing optimum conditions to help develop, finance and produce all the projects mentioned above, i.e., find involved partners and co-producers, conduct proper research, ensure the best possible quality of each project, especially support talented debutant and innovative filmmakers. Production of these projects will enable us to continue our cooperation abroad with our partners from Italy, the Czech Republic and Germany and also create the possibility of establishing new collaborations with companies from Romania or Belgium. In the future, we believe that the development and production of these projects will allow us to re-establish our presence at the major festivals and distribute our films around the world, as well as provide us with the opportunity to produce higher-budget films in an international setting. These projects of different genres and stories represent the DNA of our company: projects with a singular author’s vision and the desire to reach out to a large audience. This Slate will be a great help for us to keep on developing innovative and independent projects.
