Description

The Kinder Children’s Cancer Center is a joint initiative by Texas Children’s Hospital and The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center to create the nation’s largest pediatric cancer center dedicated exclusively to childhood cancer. The project includes inpatient and outpatient treatment facilities, dedicated disease-specific clinics, chemotherapy infusion spaces, and cutting-edge research laboratories. The new facility will be located at the 6700 block of Main Street in the Texas Medical Center, Houston, Texas, and is connected to Texas Children’s Hospital via a skybridge. The center aims to unify patient care, research, and innovation to end childhood cancer, with clinical services launching in existing facilities in 2026 and the new building expected to open in 2030 or 2031.
