Kings Highway Expansion and Commercial Relocation

planned

The project involves widening Kings Highway in Lewes, Delaware, which will require relocating existing stores and rezoning land to build new commercial buildings behind the current structures. The plan includes rezoning a 1.5-acre lot from agricultural-residential to medium commercial to facilitate construction of new stores while keeping existing businesses operational during construction. The project is in anticipation of a state road widening project that will add two lanes in each direction and install roundabouts at key intersections.
