Description | The City of Kingston plans to declare certain waterfront lands surplus and proceed with a property exchange involving Queen's University to support future development and infrastructure improvements. The project includes land exchange and easements to improve control over infrastructure and long-term planning for sidewalks, lighting, and the waterfront pathway. The City also purchased nearby land from Transport Canada for upgrades to the waterfront trail and plans to temporarily license a portion of Queen's steam plant parking lot until the project progresses. |
