Kinkora UV Treatment Structure Upgrade

This project is to upgrade the UV chamber at the Kinkora Wastewater Treatment Facility. The upgrades consist of a new 2.4m x 3.7m timber frame structure on top of the UV structure, new 12 ft fabricated galvanized access stairs, a mechanical fan, an H2S wall mount sensor, a small building heater, and electrical power plug-ins. It has been 20 years since the UV chamber was built and there have been no upgrades since that time. Our utility operator’s safety is utmost in our minds and these upgrades to the UV chamber will improve the overall safety of the facility and performance of our operator in ensuring wastewater treatment standards are met.
