Description | The Kisumu Air Traffic Control Tower is a Sh314 million project launched in September 2023, designed to enhance aviation management across Western Kenya and the wider Lake Region. Spearheaded by the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) and constructed by Polish contractors, the tower meets international standards and provides a 360-degree view for air traffic controllers. The project is currently at 97% completion, with ongoing works including installation of atrium roof trusses, interior painting, electrical fittings, tiling, and glazing. |
