These systems are designed to provide peak load mitigation, grid resiliency, and market participation through the Western Energy Imbalance Market (WEIM). The systems will have grid-forming and black-start capability to support microgrid operation during outages and enhance resiliency for essential community services, including healthcare, fire, rescue, and assisted-living facilities. |
