Kitimat-Stikine - Telegraph Creek Boat Launch and Dock

The project will increase the acccess to recreation by replacing the deteriorating boat launch and dock on the Stikine River. The infrastructure is an important access point for recreation on the River and risks being decommissioned for safety reasons. The closure would also leave the community without access that is important to the local First Nation. The project works include: - Removal and disposal of old dock materials, and site prep; - ’Riprap’ and other shoreline retaining structure; - Dock, boat launch ramp, and driving surface; - Landscaping and site finishing; - Signage; and, - Any related works.
