The project includes refurbishment of a 148-year-old underground sewer line from Moulali to Palmer Bridge drainage pumping station, upgrading the Palmer Bridge drainage pumping station with two major sumps and eight high-power pumps, and setting up a drainage pumping station at Hrishikesh Park to address waterlogging in several neighborhoods. The plan aims to save lakhs of residents from severe waterlogging and flooding during monsoons. |
