Information CSPCC Projects has come up with Kochi Water Metro Development Project with a ticket size of 1136.83 INR Crores. This project in Metro sub-sector involves The current status of the project is Completion Certificate/COD and is being developed through the EPC route. Economic/Social Impact of the Project The project envisages a route span of 78 kms length connecting 38 islands in 15 routes connecting various islands to greater kochi region. Kochi Water Metro would become the largest organised water transport system in the world and would be a game changer in the water transport sector connecting islands and people and their livelihoods with a unique mobility solution with modern infra, energy efficient electrically propelled hybrid ferries with floating pontoons enabling advanced technology .
