Description | The proceeds amounting to $ 47.57 million will be used by the French renewables developer Greenwish for the development of the 38 MW Kodeni solar PV plant in Burkina Faso ( Bobo-Dioulasso, Houet province). The developer signed 25-year PPA with the national energy utility Société Nationale d'électricité du Burkina Faso (SONABEL) as part of the country's IPP programme. The total equity is $ 10.01 million. Debt providers are the multilateral Interact Climate Change Facility ($ 14.27 million), bilateral Nederlandse Financierings-Maatschappij voor Ontwikkelingslanden N.V (FMO) ($ 14.27 million) and the Access to Energy Fund ($ 9.40 million), a fund managed by the FMO on behalf of the Dutch government that supports private sector projects aimed at providing longterm access to energy services.
