Komati Power Station Solar PV Plant

Eskom has issued a tender for the design, supply, installation, commissioning, operation and maintenance of a solar PV plant with a capacity of up to 72MWp for Komati Power Station for a period of three years. The project includes surveying, design, engineering, manufacture, procurement, supply, construction, erection, installation, testing, commissioning, and performance testing of a solar PV single-axis tracker system with a maximum export capacity of 72MWac. The PV system will connect to the existing Eskom grid at an optimal voltage level determined by the EPC Contractor. The implementation period is 18 months for construction and commissioning, followed by 18 months of operations and maintenance.
