The new buildings are using digital transformation and smart construction technology, and construction work has now started in earnest. The construction realized a 'digital twin' by digital transformation and smart construction, optimizing the site by synchronizing the actual site with the digitally simulated site. The new head office factory is expected to be completed and for relocation to be in 2022. By renewing the head office factory, Komatsu will improve productivity and reduce the environmental impact, with cutting-edge processes that add a higher value to products and services.
