The German Programme Contact Point, named Kontaktstelle CERV Deutschland, informs in a comprehensive manner German interested persons about the EU programme CERV, its funding modalities and its results. Furthermore it offers in-depth consultancy for applicants. Main target groups are potential applicants, but also the general public. The information and consultancy of the Kontaktstelle CERV aims at qualifying applicants on one hand and motivate new applicants on the other. Besides the relevant information about the application process we help to understand and improve conceptual issues such as the European dimension of the projects, the communication strategy, etc. With its mediating activities in events and online as well as print medias the Kontaktstelle CERV contributes to both better applications matching the award criteria of the EU and high quality EU projects once they are implemented. The Kontaktstelle CERV reaches a wide range of potential project managers and organizations active in the fields relevant to the programme thanks to a well elaborated network of multipliers. One of our permanent aims is to find new partners for media collaboration, common events or other cooperation activities in order to widen our sphere of activity and to reach new potential applicants. We actively use our network on national as well as on European level for helping operators to find project partners in other participating countries. We support the assembling of partners working in a similar field as well as cross-sectoral cooperation. Experience shows that working together with organizations from other fields of activities and/or with other formal structures can enrich the project in many respects. Furthermore this can help to increase the number of project partners and the European outreach of the project. We also help operators from other countries to find partners seated in Germany by publishing respective requests through our medias.
