Koos Bekker's Futuristic Succulent Dome

planned

South African tech billionaire Koos Bekker is proposing to build a large futuristic succulent dome at his Somerset County estate in New Jersey. The dome will serve as a dedicated climate-controlled space for an extensive collection of succulents, providing stable light, temperature, and humidity conditions year-round. The design is distinctive and has sparked debate among local residents regarding its scale, visual impact, and fit within the surrounding landscape. The project is currently in the proposal stage and has generated public conversation before any construction has started.
