Description | The proposed project will upgrade wastewater treatment facilities at the Columbia Pollution Control Centre, in Trail, to provide secondary treatment to improve treatment for the communities of Rossland, Trail, Warfield, Oasis and Rivervale. The project works will include: - New headworks facilities; - New primary treatment system; - New secondary treatment system; - New ultraviolet disinfection system; - Upgrade to biosolids handling and odour control; - Upgrade of outfall; - Recovery facilities for reuse of treated effluent and heat reclamation within the plant site; - decommissioning and removal of replaced components; and, - related civil, mechanical, electrical, and control works. |
