KEO aims to aligns its activities with Kosovo's Education and Youth Strategies, ensuring coherence with national priorities. Broaden participation in Erasmus+ programs, focusing on outreach to newcomers and underrepresented groups, regardless of ethnicity, religion, geography, or sexual orientation. Enhance the quality and relevance of education and training by facilitating exchanges, promoting innovative practices, and fostering intercultural understanding among participants. Focus on strengthening institutional capacity of HEIs and in particular for Vocational Education and Training (VET), to modernize and internationalize educational institutions. Promote collaboration between educational institutions, businesses, and civil society to develop joint initiatives that address societal challenges and contribute to regional development. Facilitating Erasmus+ traineeships abroad, with the aim to enhance the employability of students and graduates, addressing high youth unemployment rates in Kosovo. Special measures will be implemented to ensure the inclusion of individuals from diverse backgrounds, including those with disabilities and from disadvantaged communities. KEO will be actively involved in regional cooperation efforts, contributing to the EC's Western Balkans agenda and aligning with broader European objectives of building a more inclusive, competitive, and knowledge-based society, while also supporting Kosovo's social, economic, and cultural development. To achieve this KEOs primary focus of implementation will be increasing participation of newcomers, widespread dissemination of project outcomes, enhance impact of HERE Experts on education reform processes in Kosovo, as well as to actively engage with stakeholders, including government, EU, regional stakeholders, and international donors, to promote Erasmus+ opportunities and prioritize inclusion, twin transition (green and digital), and active citizenship.
