Description	The project involves the development of a 24-MW wind farm located in the West of Comodoro Rivadia, Patagonia region. Project is undertaken by the Spanish IPP Grenergy Renovables. Argentina’s Ministry of Energy awarded a power purchase agreement (PPA) to Kosten wind farm in the first round of its renewable energy auction, RenovAR in October 2016. The auction was based on lowest tariff per unit of energy. The length of the PPA is 20 years. Total project cost is estimated at $40 million. Sponsor of the project is Grenergy while the finance is provided by KfW IPEX-Bank through an export credit facility - amount was not disclosed. Euler Hermes has provided political and commercial export credit insurance to cover 95% of the debt. World Bank also contributes to the project as it provides guaranteed by the with dollar-denominated contract terms to avoid currency risk.
