The contract spans up to ten years and includes engineering and project oversight through all major phases. The project is structured in two phases: Phase 1 covers pre-Final Investment Decision activities, and Phase 2 covers design, construction, and commissioning pending government approval. The new units will have a combined capacity of 2,300 MWe and are expected to be operational in 2035 and 2037 respectively, enhancing Bulgaria's energy security and supporting its low-carbon transition. |
