Kratos Advanced Propulsion Manufacturing Facility

Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc. plans to establish a new advanced manufacturing facility in Bristow, Oklahoma to produce its GE Aerospace-Kratos (GEK) turbojet engine family, initially focusing on the GEK800 model. The facility will start as a 50,000-square-foot site on 20 acres and expand to 100,000 square feet, housing up to five production lines with an initial annual output of 500 engines. It will include three engine test cells for small engines, scheduled to be operational in 2027 with state grant support. Recruitment will begin in late 2025, with full operations expected by the final quarter of 2026.
